Memoirs by Elaine Le Sann (daughter of Jean-Marie) Jean-Marie and Anastasia came to Canada from France in 1911, first settling in Margo, along with other members of Jean-Marie's family. In 1916 they moved to the Theodore area settling in a couple of different farms for a short while. Within a few years they moved again; to the Good Luck district for two years, then moved back to Theodore, Sk. area, about one mile from town. In 1950 they retired to the village, Henry(son) and Ida Le Sann continued to farm and reside on the farm in the big house that they eventually remodelled. In 1959 Jean-Marie passed away at the University Hospital in Sakatoon, and Anastasie passed away in 1966. Comments by Gerald Simair Rumour had it that Jean-Marie was the most gentle but the strongest of his brothers. And his brothers where stronger than strong. Anastasie was a great visitor and made great lunches. Jean-Marie Le Sann and wife Anastasie Homestead on the South East 1/4, Section 19, Margo, Sk. (1912), see map by selecting Family Tree button.
