Francois and his sister Anne Yvonne got married the same day, Pierre Le Sann son of Francois was told that when his dad was
picking up Yvonne Ollivier the bridesmaid for his sisters wedding, (by horse and buggy) and as they were going to the wedding
Francois said to Yvonne why don't we get married too and she agreed, so they got married the same day, (Pierre Le Sann did not
know if there was another bridesmaid or not), so it was a double wedding, Yvonne Ollivier was a sister to Yves Marie Ollivier.
The date of the wedding was April 19, 1910, in Plounevez Finistere, Bretagne, France at the home of the Ollivier family
see the picture on the web page of Francois' mom and dad. Then later in 1910 the two couples came together by boat (eight days),
to Canada, then traveled by train to Margo, Sakatchewan, Canada. Francois farmed in Margo for a few years then moved to the Sandy River Municipality
east of Theodore, Saskatchewan to earn a living for his family. Francois was widowed in 1936 and continued to farm with his sons Marcel and
Pierre; Francois was a hard woker as all his family was. Francois was remembered by many for the beautiful Perchion and Belgian horses
he raised that won much applause and many ribbons at the Yorkton Fairs for years. Francois passed away in 1968 after a lengthy stay in the Geriatric Wing in the Yorkton Hospital.
